BEKASI - Acting Mayor of Bekasi Tri Adhianto inaugurated the UIKB Galaxy Adventist Church in Jakasetia Village, South Bekasi District. The Adventist Church has complied with the licensing requirements as stated in the IMB Letter Number 503/0302/IB/DPMPTSP.PPBANG.

Tri welcomed the establishment of the UIKB Galaxy Adventist Church as an important part in the lives of religious people as mandated by the 1945 Constitution and Pancasila.

"This is a picture of the faces of the people of Bekasi City. The presence of places of worship not only facilitates worship activities, but also facilitates religious harmony. Together we maintain harmony between residents. This brings coolness to all of us," he said after the inauguration in Bekasi, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, 16 February.

The city of Bekasi is included in the top 10 tolerant cities in Indonesia with indicators of success in maintaining tolerance among religious people. This is inseparable from the efforts of the Bekasi City Government and all levels of society in equalizing the need for places of worship for various religions.

"We must always echo it, of course this is an effort from all elements of the government and full support from all levels of society. Religious leaders are equally agents of unity, mutual respect, respect, and spread love among the nation's children," he said.

The Bekasi City Government stated that it would always be present for all the needs of religious people so that trust would arise between residents and be present in protecting and providing legal certainty for all religious communities.

"We are present at all levels to create a sense of trust between citizens. The government is the protector and provides legal certainty for all religious adherents. In the future, it is our duty and all elements of society to maintain harmony with each other through concrete actions. high unity and we must spread this to our fellow countrymen," he said.

Head of Adventist DKI Jakarta and its surroundings Pastor Poltak Sihombing said that the Bekasi City Government has proven itself as a guardian of diversity and togetherness among its citizens.
