JAKARTA - The High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) of South Sumatra stated that it had detained two suspects in the alleged corruption case in the project work on widening the Pulau Panggung-Segamit road section at the PUPR Office of Muara Enim Regency for the 2020 fiscal year. The investigation was stated in the Investigation Order of the Head of the Muara Enim District Attorney number PRINT-02/L.6.15/Fd.15/11/2021 dated November 2, 2021. Investigators found that the two suspects were suspected of having reduced the quality or volume and quality of the quality. concrete in the Pulau Panggung - Segamit 2020 road widening project and there was a state loss of Rp. 379,365,349.95. As a result of this action, the infrastructure built with a contract value of Rp. 1,272,000,000.00 was damaged. Then the Muara Enim District Prosecutor's Office issue a letter of determination of the suspect respectively Number B-304/L.6.15/Fd.1/10/2022 for the suspect on behalf of Saiful Rizal and the letter of determination of the suspect number B-305/L.6.15/Fd.1/10 /2022 for the suspect Muhammad Raden Nasran. As a result of these actions the two suspects were subject to Article 2 and Article 3 of Law (UU) number 20 of 2001 regarding corruption, said Radyan.
