JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has revealed the reasons for examining the children of the former Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Ronny F Sompie, Grace Veronica Sompie as witnesses to the alleged gratification of prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. The examination was related to online or online buying and selling transactions carried out by the Pinangki prosecutor.

Pinangki was named a suspect on suspicion of receiving gratuities worth US $ 500 thousand or the equivalent of Rp. 7 billion from Djoko Tjandra for processing the fatwa. He was charged with Article 5 letter b of the Corruption Crime Law.

In the TPPU case, Pinangki was suspected of disguising and spending money allegedly from corruption. The attorney's car Pinangki BMW SUV X5 has been confiscated by the AGO.
