DENPASAR - Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati or Cok Ace mentioned the positive impact of the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP event. Bali tourism is slowly rising, especially since Singapore Airlines will land tomorrow carrying passengers from Singapore.

"A few are left here, their family and friends are there. We feel it, but we haven't calculated the statistics yet, how much impact it will have on Bali," said Cok Ace at the DPRD building, Bali, Monday, February 14.

Cok Ace said that tourism in Bali had started to rise. This is evidenced by the fact that a number of airlines carry out direct international flights to the Island of the Gods. One of them, the airline Singapore Airlines (SIA) which will land in Bali.

"Tourism is definitely increasing day by day and it has been proven by tomorrow Singapore Airlines landing at 12 with 70 passengers and there are also several requests from several airlines who want to open their flights to Bali," he explained.

With several airlines wanting to open flights to Bali, it shows that there is market demand from abroad who want to visit the Island of the Gods.

"Of course this is a positive thing for us, because they want to open flights to Bali, of course with indications that there is market demand that really wants to fly to Bali. Hopefully it will be like that," said Cok Ace.
