BOYOLALI - A series of collisions occurred on the Solo-Semarang toll road, precisely on the path of Mojolegi Village, Boyolali. Two people died.

This streak involved four vehicles on the evening of Tuesday, September 8. The four vehicles are Hino trucks, Toyota Hiace, Honda CRV and Mercedes-Benz.

The victims who died in the accident were Honda CRV drivers and passengers named Deddy Erryanto and Sonya Windawaty.

Head of Traffic Unit for Boyolali Police, AKP Dwi Panji Lestari, quoted by Antara, said that the accident started with a collision between a Mercedes-Benz and a Hino truck. Mercedes-Benz bounced to the right and nudged Hiace. Afterwards, the Mercedes-Benz rolled on the scene and caught fire.

From behind, the Honda CRV, which was traveling at high speed, tried to avoid the Mercedes-Benz but crashed into a Hino truck.

Two victims who died in a CRV car were taken to Pandan Arang Hospital, Boyolali. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz driver and his son managed to escape before the car caught fire.

Boyolali Police Traffic Unit officers carry out a case scene (TKP) of consecutive accidents that resulted in two deaths, on the Solo-Semarang Toll Road, Wednesday, September 9.

The Satlantas officer in the TKP processing at the Solo-Semarang KM 485 toll road in Boyolali took measurements and gave signs to collect evidence.

According to the Chief of Traffic for Boyolali Police, AKP Dwi Panji Lestari said that the TKP in the traffic accident involving four vehicles was intended to collect evidence.

"The officers return to the TKP to mark and measure traffic accidents at the TKP, where the results will clarify and convince the investigating team by gathering evidence whether the case can be turned into an investigation," said Head of Laka Ipda Utomo representing the Head of Traffic Unit for the Boyolali Police as quoted by Antara.

According to Utomo, the provisional results of the Honda CR-V were known to be traveling at high speed, and for the dead victims there were two drivers and passengers of the Honda CR-V.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Mercedes Bens Sedan who suffered injuries was referred to Solo Hospital. One is still conscious and the other is being treated in the ICU.
