Active Cases Of COVID-19 In Bangka Increase By 16 People, The Total Is 150

BANGKA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province stated that there were 16 additional active COVID-19 cases today, bringing the total to 106 COVID-19 patients.

Spokesman for the Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force Boy Yandra via a message application received in Bangka, Friday, February 11, said that the 16 COVID-19 patients found this Friday came from five sub-districts out of eight sub-districts in Bangka Regency.

There are eight people from Sungailiat District, one from Riau Silip, four from Pemali and three from Mendo Barat District.

"The number of additional COVID-19 cases of 16 people is lower than the findings of the same case on Thursday, February 10 which reached 30 people," he explained. On average, there were a dozen cases, including two cases of the Omicron variant, which were immigrants from Jakarta.

In fact, he said, the Bangka Regency area was in the green zone from the spread of COVID-19 at the end of 2021, but now there are confirmation cases again.

Based on data on the development of COVID-19 cases in Bangka Regency, the total cases since the emergence of the spread of the corona virus for approximately two years have reached 9,957 cases, 9,487 COVID-19 patients have recovered and 364 patients have died.

"The highest distribution of cases is in Sungailiat District with 3,943 cases and the lowest in Bakam District is only 163 cases," he said.
