JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had prepared 6 centralized isolation locations for COVID-19 patients amid an increase in COVID-19 cases due to the spread of the Omicron variant.

This centralized isolation location is only intended for COVID-19 patients with asymptomatic (OTG) categories, mild symptoms, and no comorbidities. Meanwhile, patients with moderate, severe, and critical symptoms are hospitalized.

"At least six controlled isolation locations have been prepared, namely at the Mansion, Graha Wisata Ragunan, Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, at LPMP, Hasyim Ashari Grand Mosque, and Wisma Adhyaksa Puri Loka," Riza told reporters, Friday, February 11.

From these 6 locations, there are 921 isolation beds provided, with details of 77 beds at CIS Mansion, then 194 beds at Graha Wisata Ragunan.

Then, there are 100 isolation beds at Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, 150 beds at LPMP, 100 beds at the Hasyim Ashari Grand Mosque, and 100 beds at Wisma Adhyaksa Puri Loka.

As of February 10 yesterday, the beds that have been used have only been at Graha Wisata TMII, Hashim Asyari Grand Mosque, and Wisma Adhyaksa Puri Loka.

"The total number of beds prepared has reached 921 beds. However, only 47 have been used. So, there are still 874 beds left. Of course we hope the beds are not used, right," said Riza.

In the near future, the DKI Provincial Government will also use Wisma Ragunan as a centralized isolation place on Saturday, February 12 tomorrow.

Riza said residents who were exposed to COVID-19 could get a centralized isolation facility with a referral from the puskesmas. If the capacity of this isolation location is running low, the DKI Provincial Government will again add another location.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will prepare centralized isolation, precisely in GOR, mosques, flats to Wisma-Wisma owned by DKI. In principle, we Provincial Government can prepare some of the facilities needed for the benefit of COVID-19," he said.
