JAKARTA - An Angsana tree on Jalan Griya Tipar Cakung Flat, RT 010/10, Cakung Barat Village, Cakung District suddenly fell and hit the roof of the Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA). Luckily there were no casualties in the incident.

The residents then reported it to the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) for immediate action.

"The RPTRA manager reported to us at 13.30 WIB that there was a fallen tree. We have deployed 1 truck and four rescue workers for handling," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head Gatot Sulaeman to reporters, Thursday 10 February.

"The Angsana tree has a diameter of 1.5 meters and a height of 10 meters. The tree fell because of the peat soil. The evacuation was completed at 14:10 WIB," he said.

After taking a few minutes, the tree was successfully evacuated. The damage caused by the fallen tree only damaged the roof of the RPTRA Griya Tipar Cakung building.
