The Story Of A Police Accident Beaten By Residents

JAKARTA - Tuesday, November 11, early in the morning, the flyover construction process in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, had stalled. The workers decide to put down their work tools. This is because one of the heavy equipment parked on the side of the road was hit by a car.

The public came around the black car with the police number B 2912 DTN. But the driver of the car, who was later discovered by an Aipda U policeman, spurred the car to run away. The situation is getting worse. A chase between the driver and the residents ensued.

The driver was chased to the Poltangan area, Pasar Minggu. He could not escape from the surrounding residents who were pursuing him. He and his car became the target of the residents' anger.

Luckily, the South Jakarta Traffic Unit officers who received information about the accident went directly to the location. The residents' tantrum was suppressed, the driver was saved.

This case was handled by the South Jakarta Police Headquarters. Police find out the cause of the accident. However, they were in trouble because the trigger of the accident was unknown on the grounds that there were no witnesses.

"So there were no witnesses who saw directly. Only a few project workers were there but they only knew after hearing the sound of a car crashing," said Panit Laka then South Jakarta Ipda Mulyadi to VOI.

Moreover, the driver of the car is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. His head was bruised and he had a concussion. "The victim cannot yet be questioned because his injuries were quite severe as a result of being beaten by the masses," said Mulyadi.

Mulyadi did not want to comment when called Aipda U, driving drunk. He will comment after the results of the examination from the team of doctors.

"It is not certain whether you are sleepy, whether you are drunk, but if you are drunk you don't smell like alcohol," he said.
