Reckless On The Road, Motorcyclist Without Helmet And SIM, Falls To Death In Duren Sawit

JAKARTA - HR (42) a motorcycle rider without a helmet was found dead after the motorcycle he was riding fell on Jalan Buaran Raya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Before the victim fell on the asphalt, his body was hit by an angkot that was nearby. HR suddenly died on the spot.

East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head AKBP Edi Surasa confirmed that the motorcyclist had an accident.

"The motorbike was traveling from east to west, at the Ace Hardware store. The motorbike without a helmet was equipped with a high speed and wobbled, then fell. It wobbled because it couldn't control it," said AKBP Edi Surasa when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, February 8.

From the results of checking the scene, the police did not find a driver's license (SIM) from the victim's body. However, the police found a vehicle registration certificate belonging to the victim.

"The motorbike is a retailer, there is a STNK letter. It just doesn't have a SIM," he said.

Kasat confirmed that when the victim's motorbike fell, it was struck by another car. The victim suffered serious head injuries.

"The victim fell alone, then there was an angkot behind him and he was hit (hit)," he said.

Police are still gathering and examining witnesses from the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the car will also be checked at the East Jakarta Satlantas office.

"The information (of the car driver) must have been taken. Later we will develop it first. As for the cause, the motorcycle fell by itself," he said.

Officers who arrived at the location immediately evacuated the victim to the RSCM and contacted the family.

"The victim was taken to the hospital, his family has arrived. We focus on the victim first to take care of the death certificate for the accident victim," he said.
