JAMBI - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have examined seven more witnesses related to the bribery case against the hammer in the ratification of the 2017 Jambi Regional Budget for suspect Apif Firmansyah. One of the witnesses examined was a student.

Witness examination was carried out on the second floor of the Jambi Regional Police's Ditreskrimsus Building, Monday, February 7 yesterday. Dita Rafika Sari, a student witness who was summoned by the KPK, came accompanied by her mother.

Dita, who was wearing a white shirt with black sleeves and wearing a dark green headscarf, seemed to immediately enter the KPK investigators' room, while her mother waited outside the room.

After undergoing examination by KPK investigators for almost two hours, witness Dita admitted that he was questioned by the KPK regarding the flow of funds for suspect Apif Firmansyah.

"He said there was a money laundering case related to Apif Firmansyah, I just don't know Apif," he told reporters who interviewed him after leaving the examination room at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 8.

Asked how much money laundering was funded for suspect Apif Firmansyah, he did not know and did not want to reveal it. "I don't know for sure the number because I don't know the suspect Apif and the KPK investigators also didn't mention the amount," said Dita.

In addition to witness Dita, previously there were also other witnesses after being questioned by KPK investigators at the Jambi Police Headquarters, such as Muhammad Imaduddin alias Iim as Director of PT Athar Graha Persada after being questioned by the KPK.

"Still like yesterday, just a little extra," he said again.

In addition, the KPK on Monday at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters examined several witnesses such as Nur Apriyanti from the private sector (Commissioner of PT Angkasa Indah), Veri Aswandi from the private sector, Hasanuddin as the President Director of PT Giant Eka Sakti, Sutami an entrepreneur, and Asnawi as a civil servant in Jambi Province.
