Only Coordinating Minister Luhut Can Receive Calls When President Joko Widodo Delivers A Speech

JAKARTA - Take a look at the moment when President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) delivered a speech inaugurating the Ajibata Ferry Port and the two ferry boats KMP Pora-Pora and KMP Caldera Toba Pafda last Wednesday, February 2.

During the speech, as in the video uploaded to the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube channel, it was seen that the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan (LBP) was receiving a call behind Jokowi.

During his speech, Jokowi wore a white shirt and black pants with a beautiful ulos wrapped around his right shoulder. While behind Jokowi lined up a number of parties including ministers and LBP.

The Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi, the Regent of Toba Poltak Sitorus, and the Regent of Simalungun.

"Today, seven ferry ports in the Lake Toba area have been completed and can be used by the community. The seven ports include Ajibata Port and (Port) Balige in Toba Regency, Tiga Ras Port in Simalungun Regency, Simanindo Port in Samosir Regency, Marbun Port Toruan/Baktiraja in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Muara Port in North Tapanuli Regency, Tongging Port in Karo Regency," Jokowi said as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat Youtube, Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Coordinating Minister Luhut, while President Jokowi delivered a speech, seemed to be holding a cellphone and talking. His left hand holds a cellphone and pressed it to his ear while his right hand is folded in front of his stomach.

Luhut also looked serious, occasionally nodding and looking left and right. This video clip was also widely reviewed by netizens on social media.
