JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) is collaborating with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to secure state assets that are used by PLN to provide electricity for the community. PLN Main Director Darmawan Prasodjo said that the cooperation between PLN and the KPK has existed since 2019, namely in controlling company assets. He mentioned that several collaborations were explored, one of which was improving the planning system and building a digital-based payment system so that previously complicated and complicated processes that were prone to corruption, could be avoided.
This collaboration will support PLN's strategic programs, including the transition of diesel power plants (PLTD) to new renewable energy (EBT) and gas (gasification). Later the KPK will provide assistance from the auction process to business systems and processes.

Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, welcomed PLN's efforts to improve governance and digitization. According to him, good governance will prevent potential losses to the state.
"The management must be prudent and also not cause state losses," said Ghufron.
Ghufron also ensured that his staff would continue to oversee improvements and efforts to prevent corruption within PLN.
Finally, Ghufron advised PLN to implement clean business practices as a form of responsibility to the public by building an anti-corruption, transparent and fair business climate.
