Police Search Traces Of Child Abuse In Jagakarsa, Perpetrator's Wife: She's Not Open To People

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim are still investigating cases of alleged sexual abuse of minors in Jagakarsa through the traces left by the perpetrators in carrying out their actions.

“We are still under investigation because he left all traces of him, his identity. We are still investigating, we will definitely reveal it," explained the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasatreskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ridwan Soplanit, Wednesday, February 2.

Ridwan said that his party had already pocketed the identity of the perpetrators, including a number of hiding places.

"There are some that we already know. We have asked his wife. His wife also said that the relationship is not very open either," he said.

There are several stopover places for the perpetrators who have been visited by the police.

"We have entered, now we are developing it, hopefully we can secure it. I think he is outside the city. He moves places," he said.

Previously, the perpetrator's depraved act was uncovered after the victim's father, MBR, reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, January 24 because the six-year-old child was allegedly sexually assaulted by a traveling dumpling seller.

The allegation was discovered after the victim reported to MBR on Friday, January 21. He revealed that at that time the child contacted via cell phone to complain about the alleged actions of K alias Tebet.

MBR reported the alleged violence to the South Jakarta Metro Police based on Police Report Number: LP/B/183/I/2022/RJS dated January 24, 2022.
