Muhammadiyah Prepares Excellent Human Resources In East Kalimantan To Support The National Capital Of The Archipelago

JAKARTA - The Muhammadiyah organization has stated that it will prepare human resources in East Kalimantan that are superior in welcoming the National Capital of the Archipelago.

Deputy Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership for East Kalimantan, Mariman Darto, said he did not want the natives of East Kalimantan to be unable to follow the changes that occurred due to the relocation of the capital city.

For this reason, Muhammadiyah continues to develop itself so that it can contribute to improving the quality and quality of public education.

"The birth of the Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan adds new energy to the implementation of the best education in East Kalimantan, this is very important. Even in terms of the development of Muhammadiyah lecturers, currently there are those who continue their education at home and abroad. We welcome IKN very ready," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday. , January 30.

Apart from tertiary institutions, basic, secondary and higher education are also continuously improved. In fact, Muhammadiyah has built a pesantren to build character in preparing human resources who are strong and able to face the challenges ahead.

"For health, we have started developing hospitals in several places. And Muhammadiyah has prepared two companies to anticipate changes," he said.

This, he said, was because the entry of other large companies in East Kalimantan also needed to be anticipated. He said that there were two PTs that moved infrastructure prepared by Muhammadiyah.

"However, the main thing is to build public awareness to be ready for IKN," said Mariman.

Meanwhile, the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) ensured that the City of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, would be the place for the inauguration of the new board of PBNU for the solemn period of 2022-2027.

In addition, PBNU will also build offices, hospitals, campuses and Islamic boarding schools in the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.

Mariman Darto welcomed the implementation of the inauguration of the new PBNU board in East Kalimantan. This, he said, is also proof of East Kalimantan as the epicenter for Indonesia and the world after the decision to move the capital city to Penajam Paser Utara.

"The inauguration of the new board of PBNU strengthens our belief that East Kalimantan deserves to be the epicenter for Indonesia and the world," he said.

He considered that the selection of Balikpapan as the location for the inauguration of the board was an effort by PBNU to support the government's plan to move the country's capital city.

According to him, this is a momentum for all parties to work together to ensure the readiness of education, health, social and community.
