JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Health Office, Widyastuti, said that his party would investigate reports of residents who claimed that it was starting to become difficult to find treatment at the hospital in line with the current increase in the occupancy of COVID-19 beds.

Widyastuti suspects that the hospital's full report so that residents cannot receive treatment is not spread across all health facilities in Jakarta.

"Of course this is a joint record. I will actually check whether the spread (which is full) or what. Because basically there are 140 out of 194 hospitals that are ready to provide COVID-19 treatment services," said Widyastuti at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta. , Thursday, January 27.

Currently, the BOR for the isolation of COVID-19 patients has reached 45 percent from the previous 38 percent on January 25. There have been 1,756 isolation beds occupied from a total of 3,922 beds.

Meanwhile, the ICU BOR has reached 14 percent from the previous 11 percent. A total of 86 ICU beds out of a total of 611 beds have been filled.

Actually, said Widyastuti, the majority of COVID-19 patients currently being treated in hospitals have mild symptoms and have no symptoms or OTG.

"Of the 45 percent who are treated at the hospital, there are actually still leaks, which are mild and asymptomatic (OTG) about 48 percent of the 45 percent occupancy of beds," said Widyastuti.

Previously, the Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office Abraham Wirotomo admitted that he received reports that Jakarta residents were starting to find it difficult to find hospitals, following the increasing occupancy of beds for COVID-19 patients.

"Data as of last Wednesday, the BOR of hospitals in Jakarta reached 45 percent. And KSP has started receiving reports of residents having difficulty finding hospitals," Abraham said in a written statement.
