Now With The Status Of An ASN, The Pension Guarantee For KPK Employees Is Borne By PT Taspen

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employee pension guarantee is now regulated by PT Taspen. This decision was made after an employee of this institution officially became a state civil apparatus (ASN).

"KPK and PT Taspen discussed future cooperation. In addition, Taspen is the government's extension in paying the rights of ASN employees," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 27th.

Alexander said the adjustment of this obligation must be done after the transfer of employment status. Moreover, before changing the status of the KPK to ASN, there were several elements, namely permanent employees who were not ASNs, had been ASNs, and employed civil servants (PNYD).

PT Taspen also responded to this arrangement. The President Director of PT Taspen, Kosasih said that his party was ready to serve the KPK.

He also asked KPK employees not to worry about their welfare. Because the government has guaranteed ASN through PT Taspen.

"We Taspen are always ready to serve all ASN. You don't have to worry because the Indonesian government has guaranteed the welfare of ASN. For that we have conveyed what are the rights of ASN, especially those who retire or die in the line of duty," he said.

For information, currently there are a total of 1,552 KPK employees, of which 222 are employed civil servants (PNYD), 34 PNYDs who have been transferred to KPK civil servants, 5 leaders and 5 members of the Supervisory Board. Thus, there were a total of 1,286 KPK employees who changed status as ASN and automatically became Taspen participants.

During the meeting, PT Taspen also provided death compensation to the heirs of two KPK employees who died on behalf of Yudy Kurnia and Trilaksana Djunaedi Elangsaputra. In addition, the KPK employee named Agung Kusnandar was also given pension rights.
