JAKARTA - The DPR has approved the government's plan to sell two KRI warships to the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan). The two ships to be sold are KRI Teluk Mandar 514 and KRI Teluk Turtle 513 which are considered unfit for use.
The approval was taken after Commission I of the DPR listened to an explanation from Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto regarding the sale of the 2 KRIs.
"After listening to the explanations of the Minister of Defense, Minister of Finance, KSAL, Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives decided to approve the proposed sale of the former KRI Teluk Bandar 514 and KRI Teluk Turtle 513 ships to the Ministry of Defense in accordance with Surpres number R, regarding the application for approval of the sale of state property in the form of ex-boats.
