JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found money and financial transaction documents after searching the company owned by the Regent of Langkat, who was not active in the issuance of the Warin Angin Plan.

"The investigative team has completed carrying out a forced search of the Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. The intended location is a company suspected of belonging to the TRP suspect, namely PT DRP (Dewa Planning Warinangin)," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Thursday. , January 27.

From a search on Wednesday, January 26, the KPK found money and financial transaction documents which will later be analyzed and confiscated to confirm the alleged bribery received by Terbit. However, it was not specified how much the money was.

"A sum of cash was found and secured and several financial transaction documents will be re-analyzed and confiscated to confirm the alleged actions of the TRP and colleagues," he said.

Furthermore, the KPK again reminded that no party would hinder the ongoing investigation. This is because such actions can be subject to criminal sanctions because they have hindered the investigation process.

"KPK does not stop reminding various parties not to intentionally obstruct the ongoing investigation process," said Ali.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Langkat Regent Publishing a Plan for Warring Angin as a suspect in bribery related to infrastructure projects. This decision was made after the anti-corruption commission held an OTT on Tuesday, January 18.

In this case, the KPK suspects that Terbit managed the implementation of the infrastructure work project package in Langkat Regency.
