JAKARTA - Police are still hunting for the perpetrator of the beating that caused the death of the elderly, Wiyanto Halim. In this case, the police have named 5 suspects.

"We are still pursuing and searching for the other perpetrators recorded in the viral video," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, September 26.

In the hunt for the perpetrators, the police pocketed several pieces of evidence, one of which was video recording. The viral video shows the perpetrators.

"The team is still moving and there are still investigations being carried out," said Zulpan.

Wiyanto Halim was beaten to death by a mob on Jalan Pulo Kambing Raya, Pulogadung Industrial Estate, Sunday, January 23 at around 02.00 WIB.

Wiyanto Halim was shouted at by the thief and chased by the mob until he was beaten to death.
