Sleman Regent Kustini Isoman After Being Exposed To COVID-19, District Government Activities Remain Normal

SLEMAN - The activities of the Sleman Regency Government, Yogyakarta Special Region continue to run normally even though Sleman Regent Kustini Sri Purnomo was declared exposed to COVID-19. Kustini has been in self-isolation (isoman) at the regent's official residence since Monday, January 24.

"The administration remains normal, although the Sleman Regent has been in self-isolation (isoman) since yesterday," said Regional Secretary for Sleman Regency Harda Kiswaya, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 26.

According to him, the Sleman Regent even actively participated in the regional leadership communication forum (Forkopimda) meeting which was held today virtually through the zoom application.

"The regent appears to be healthier, and there are no visible signs of illness. He also provided input at the Forkopimda meeting today," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Sleman Kustini Sri Purnomo in a written statement said that despite his isoman, his activities as regent continued normally.

Such as the Coordination Meeting of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Rakor Forkopimda) in Sleman which was held on Wednesday.

This coordination meeting was attended by the Head of the Sleman Police, the Dandim of Sleman, the Deputy Chair of the Sleman DPRD, the Chair of the Sleman District Court, the Sleman Regional Secretary, as well as all regional leaders in Sleman Regency.

In the meeting with the regional leadership in Sleman, Kustini led the discussion regarding the handling of street crime, face-to-face learning, vaccination and natural disaster alertness.

"Activities are still normal. I recently participated in the Forkopimda Coordination Meeting activity via Zoom. Talking about street crime is one of them. This is important because it is related to security and order in Sleman, so discussions and immediate handling must be carried out," he said.

According to Kustini, the Sleman Regency Government is currently continuing to increase the synergy with the TNI and Polri ranks in dealing with street crimes.

He has also instructed all panewu (camat) to proactively take steps to support the handling of street crimes by coordinating with Forkopim Kapanewon, lurah, bhabinkamtibmas and babinsa.

"We also ask the Kapanewon and sub-district governments to campaign for the Parents Care Movement for Children's Presence at Night and the socialization of Perbup 45 of 2020 concerning Home Hours/Child Rest Hours to reduce street crime," he said.

Kustini in the coordination meeting conveyed several other efforts made by the Sleman Regency Government, namely increasing the frequency of integrated patrols, increasing the quality and quantity of CCTV in various vulnerable areas, as well as law enforcement efforts that are able to provide a deterrent effect to perpetrators of street crimes. himself coordinated with several heads of agencies to monitor the program that was being worked on in early 2022.

"Earlier, I coordinated online with the agencies related to several programs. Thank God there were no problems," he said.

Kustini said his condition is currently in good health and is not experiencing any symptoms. So that his duties in running the wheels of government can still be carried out by "work from home" (WFH).

"I have handed over some technical tasks to the Deputy Regent of Sleman. What I can still handle online, I still do it with WFH," he said.

The Regent also appealed to the people of Sleman to continue to comply with the rules during the extension period of PPKM level 2 in Sleman Regency.

"One of them is the discipline of implementing health protocols to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19," he said.
