KPK Monitors Handling Of Cases Of Alleged Corruption Of The Deputy Regent Of North Lombok At The NTB Prosecutor's Office

MATARAM - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will monitor the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office in handling the alleged corruption case with the suspect as the Deputy Regent of North Lombok, with the initials DKF.

"We will continue to monitor developments regarding that (hospital case)," said Budi Waluya, Director of Coordination and Supervision for Region V of the KPK in Mataram, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 19.

He emphasized this after carrying out coordination and supervision of the handling of corruption cases within the scope of work of the Prosecutor's Office in NTB.

The activity was carried out at the NTB Prosecutor's Office building, Mataram City. All district/city officials in the special criminal field are present. The Special Criminal Assistant (Aspidsus) of the West Nusa Tenggara Attorney's Office, Gunawan Wibisono, and all of his investigators are no exception.

The project corruption case at the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD) was also presented by the Attorney General's Office in its report to the KPK. The handling report was submitted along with 29 other corruption cases that are currently under investigation.

Regarding the corruption case involving the active deputy regent, Budi heard the presentation from the Prosecutor's Office that the progress of handling it had been going well.

"Indeed, we are not technically involved in the progress of the case, not in detail, but from the results of the coordination, we see that the progress of handling is still going, there are no serious problems," he said.

Spokesman for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Supardin representing the Aspidsus NTB Prosecutor's Office, Gunawan Wibisono, said that the progress of the corruption case that dragged the Deputy Regent of North Lombok as a suspect was still ongoing.

Regarding the DKF examination agenda, which has not been carried out by the Prosecutor's Office since his appointment as a suspect on September 23, 2021, Supardin ensures that this will be carried out according to the investigation agenda.

"So it's just a matter of time," said Supardin.

The project with the work item in the form of adding an Emergency Installation (IGD) room at the North Lombok Hospital was carried out by PT Batara Guru Group. The project was carried out with a value of IDR 5.1 billion in the 2019 fiscal year.

Allegations of corruption emerged after the government terminated the project contract in the middle of construction. This is corroborated by the state loss of around Rp. 742.75 million.

The mode of corruption is related to project work which is still declared completed even though there are still allegations of lack of work volume.

For this project, the Prosecutor's Office of NTB appointed the Deputy Head of North Lombok DKF while serving as an expert staff of the supervisory consultant CV Indo Mulya Consultant.

DKF became a suspect along with the leadership of CV Indo Mulya Consultant, with the initials LFH, the Director of the North Lombok Hospital with the initials SH, the project commitment maker (PPK) with the initials HZ, and the proxy of the Director of PT Batara Guru Group, MF.
