In Front Of The KPK, The Regent Of Langkat Once Said: Avoid Corruption, Let's Build For Mutual Prosperity

JAKARTA - Last June 2021, the Regent of Langkat, Published a War Plan for the Wind, once held a coordination meeting with the ranks of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The ranks of the district government received directions from the Corruption Eradication Commission on how to prevent corruption. In less than a year, the Regent of Terbit was caught in the hands of the KPK's silent operation.

Reportedly, the Regent of Langkat Planning to War Wind and a number of people were arrested by the KPK in a silent operation. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not explained the details of the series of investigation activities, who will be arrested. Previously, the Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Nurul Ghufron, did not deny or confirm when asked by the Langkat Regent that the plan for Warring Angin was also secured.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently still investigating the arrested parties. The KPK now has 1x24 hours to determine their status and the allegations of corruption.

The Regent of Langkat and the Deputy Regent of Langkat H. Syah Afandin continued to follow the guidance and direction of the Indonesian KPK on June 6, 2021, in order to prevent corrupt practices. The event at that time was held entitled a coordination meeting (Rakor) on the integrated corruption eradication of the Regional Government, at the Karo Regent's Office Hall, Kaban Jahe.

The Regent at that time gave orders to the ranks to close ranks to work hard, sincerely and thoroughly to build a religious, advanced and prosperous Langkat.

"Avoid corruption, let's build Langkat for mutual prosperity," he said.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said there are important points and continues to be committed to running the government so that there is no corruption. That point is to improve the local governance system by referring to the MCP, by continuing to coordinate, monitor and evaluate with the KPK.

Avoid and prevent project monopoly, project management and other modes. Do not intervene in the process and procurement of goods and services.

Didik also stated that the reason for his party was to invite the wives of regional leaders to attend the Coordination Meeting. Namely, because the role of the wife is very important in preventing corruption.

"Because the wife is the person who is closest to the husband, so it is hoped that she can participate in monitoring and preventing if there are indications of corruption," he explained.
