Add 76 People, 2,611 COVID-19 Patients Are Treated At Wisma Atlet Hospital

JAKARTA - A total of 2,611 patients who were confirmed positive for the Corona virus (COVID-19) are still being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Jakarta Emergency Hospital.

"The number of patients has increased by 76," said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, Head of Information for the Joint Defense Region I Command.

Aris explained that the number of patients under treatment on Monday, January 17 was 2,535 people. Patients who entered came from the DKI Jakarta area.

Aris explained that the COVID-19 patient was being treated in towers 5 and 6. The patient was treated with mild symptoms. RSDC Wisma Atlet has a total of 7,894 rooms minus 4,700 rooms in towers 4 and 7 that are not used.

The number of beds available is 3,194 units, including 2,611 units used by COVID-19 patients.

For the recapitulation of patients from 23 March 2020 to 18 January 2022, 134,496 patients were registered. Where 131,885 patients have been discharged with details 130,217 declared cured, 1,072 referred to other hospitals, and 596 people died.

Meanwhile, at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Emergency Hospital, 2,886 inpatients who have been self-quarantined as of Tuesday. That number decreased by 87 people compared to Monday, January 17 as many as 2,973 people.

The Coordinator of the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Major General TNI Budiman, invites all parties to continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner. According to him, vigilance by complying with the 5M health protocol is the most important thing so that COVID-19 cases do not rise again.

Meanwhile, the central government maintains that the status of implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in DKI Jakarta remains at level two from January 18-24, 2022. This stipulation is stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 3 of 2022.
