Siliwangi Young Forces Demand Arteria Dahlan Apologizes About Kajati Speaks Sundanese, Otherwise Will Be Visited Directly

BADUNG - Chairman of the Siliwangi Youth Forces (AMS) Noery Ispandji Firman asked DPR member Arteria Dahlan to apologize to the Sundanese people for his statement that the Attorney General should replace the Attorney General's office regarding the Sundanese-language Kajati.

"We are Sundanese, a forgiving nation and we only ask Arteria Dahlan to withdraw his words and apologize to the Sundanese," said Ispandji at a press conference in Kuta, Badung, Bali, Tuesday, January 18.

However, if Arteria Dahlan does not apologize, AMS will go directly to the PDI-P politician.

"If it is not done, I think we will go to meet him directly. Hopefully he is aware that what he said, he said, did not fit as a politician or representative of the people," he added.

Ispandji also said that he was the first to act on Arteria Dahlan's statement. Arteria Dahlan's statement in a working meeting with the Attorney General St. Burhanuddin was considered offensive to the Sundanese people.

"This makes a scene by offending feelings, the behavior of a respectable person, he said, this member of the Indonesian House of Representatives. I (see) as an individual then arbitrarily spoke asking the AGO to remove the Prosecutor's Office, which had a meeting with regional languages," he said.

Previously, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, asked DPR Commission III member Arteria Dahlan to apologize to the Sundanese people. Arteria Dahlan, the PDIP politician, previously asked the Attorney General to fire the Head of the High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) who spoke in Sundanese during a work meeting.

"I urge Mr. Arteria Dahlan to apologize to the Sundanese people in this archipelago," said Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, at a press conference in Kuta, Badung, Bali, Tuesday, January 18.

"So I regret the statement from Mr. Arteria Dahlan regarding the language problem that has existed for hundreds of years, thousands of years has become the wealth of this archipelago. If you are not comfortable, just put it as simple as that," he said.

"But if the form of asking to be dismissed from his position in my opinion is too excessive, there is no clear basis. I observe this offending many Sundanese people everywhere. But if it is not done it will definitely escalate because Sundanese are actually forgiving people. " continued Ridwan Kamil.
