Minister Ida Fauziyah's Praise To Raffi Ahmad 'Sultan Andara': Don't Cut The Salaries Of Rans Employees During The Pandemic

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah, appreciated the young entrepreneur Raffi Ahmad who had included his workers to join the BPJS Employment program. Minister Ida also praised Raffi for not cutting the salaries of hundreds of employees at Rans Entertainment during the pandemic.

"I appreciate Raffi Ahmad. Aa Rafi has included his employees to participate in BPJS Employment and during this pandemic there are no layoffs and no reduction in wages during the pandemic," said the Minister of Manpower monitored from the ministry's website, Tuesday, January 18.

The Minister of Manpower hopes that Raffi Ahmad's actions will be followed by other entrepreneurs.

"Hopefully other entrepreneurs can follow in Raffi Ahmad's footsteps to help the government in economic recovery and guarantee its employees," he said.

To Raffi and Nagita, and their workers, the Minister of Manpower also conveyed the importance of workers participating in the entire Employment Social Security.

According to him, the Social Security program organized by BPJS Employment provides certainty of protection and social welfare for all Indonesian people, to be able to meet the needs of a decent life when risks occur such as illness, work accidents, death, job loss, and to maintain welfare when entering old age or pension.

"So, workers will get many benefits by being participants of BPJS Employment," he said.
