Prada MI Contacted 27 of His Colleagues After Claiming to Be Attacked

JAKARTA - Prada MI contacted 27 colleagues after being involved in a single traffic accident.

"Then it was developed again related to MI soldiers' cellphones. MI officers had contacted 27 of his colleagues. It would be used as further development," said the TNI Commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Sunday, August 30.

In addition to checking Prada MI's cell phone, he also examined the surveillance cameras or CCTV at the scene of the accident. The provisional result, Prada MI had a single accident. Different from his confession, which he said that he was beaten up.

Then, he also checked the CCTV at the Cicacas Police, East Jakarta. From the CCTV, two unscrupulous members of the TNI were involved in the damage. So, he will continue to explore the recording to find out the identity of the two.

"In the second CCTV footage, when the damage occurred, there was a motorcycle with two people. We suspect that they did the damage," said Hadi.

Later, if all TNI personnel are proven to have been involved in the destruction, Hadi emphasized that he would give firm sanctions. However, there has no further explanation of the form of sanctions.

"If it is proven, then firm action will be taken under the applicable law," he said.

Previously, 12 witnesses from TNI have been examined. From the examination, 3 of them admitted that they are the perpetrators of the damage. They damaged several vehicles parked at the Ciracas Police Station, East Jakarta.

"The three men were the perpetrators of destroying motorbikes and vehicles," said Hadi.

So far, the case is still under investigation. The vandalism was said to have been triggered by Prada MI's confession. He told his colleagues that he had been attacked by some people. The news was also spread through the Whatsapp short message application group.

The destruction of the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta, occurred on Saturday, August 29, in the early hours of the morning. It is said, hundreds of unknown people attacked the place.

The Police building and several facilities are damaged, while three police members are injured.
