Gibran's Response Reported To KPK By UNJ Lecturer: Focus On Welcoming Work

SOLO - Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka confirmed that he would not report back to Jakarta State University (UNJ) lecturer Ubedilah Badrun who had previously reported it to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Rasah, tekke wae lak bored (no need, just let it sit, you'll get bored)," Gibran said in Solo, as reported by Antara, Friday, January 14.

Moreover, he said, currently the news related to the case has begun to subside.

"Focus on welcoming gawe wae (just working). Koyo ora nduwe gawean wae (like not having a job), busy," he said.

He also did not feel polluted by the report so that there was no need for an effort to report back on defamation.

"I stole (stealed) ngono, it was tainted," he said.

Previously, on Ubedillah's accusations against him and his younger brother Kaesang Pangarep, Gibran asked Ubedillah to prove it first.

"It's been proven sik, I was wrong po ra (I'm wrong or not). It's wrong yo this second I was arrested by wae ra popo (it's okay)," he said.

Ubedillah himself reported Gibran and Kaesang to the KPK, Monday, January 10 in relation to criminal acts of corruption and/or money laundering related to allegations of corruption, collusion, nepotism (KKN) business relations between the President's son and a business group suspected of being involved in forest fires.
