1,798 COVID-19 Patients At The Athlete House Are Still Hospitalized

JAKARTA - A total of 1,798 patients who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital, Central Jakarta, are still being hospitalized.

"All confirmed positive patients are being treated at Tower 5 and Tower 6, with details of 777 male and 1,021 female patients," said Head of Information for the Joint Defense Area Command I TNI, Marine Colonel Aris Muldian, quoted from Antara, Sunday.

He said the number increased by 192 patients from the previous data, which was 1,606 people. Overall, the number of recovered patients at Wisma Atlet has reached 128,671 people.

Then, 1,059 patients were referred to other hospitals and 596 people died. The patient recapitulation in towers five and six starts from March 23, 2020 to January 9, 2022 at 08.00 WIB.

In more detail, there were 132,124 registered people and 130,326 patients discharged from the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital during the period from March 23 to January 9, 2022.

In addition, Muldian also conveyed the progress of COVID-19 patients at the Galang Island Special Infection Hospital (RSKI) with a total of 359 inpatients. The details, 246 male patients and 113 female patients.

From 12 April 2020 to 8 January 2022, the Galang Island Hospital recorded 18,251 registered people and 17,891 discharged patients and one patient died.
