JAKARTA - Head of the Depok City Transportation Service (Dishub), Eko Herwiyanto, a suspect in the land mafia case, is said to have falsified the letter of surrender of land rights while serving as Sawangan Sub-district Head. He is suspected of collaborating with two other suspects.

"That the alleged falsification of the statement of waiver of rights for private interests was made by Brother H and Brother NA who were assisted by Brother EH. The forged letter was used by the suspect Burhanudin Abubakar as an attachment document.

At that time, Burhanudin submitted a request for the handover of a piece of land to the City Government (Depok City Government) which was designated as a burial place.

"The statement of waiver of rights which is allegedly fake or falsified has been used by the suspect on behalf of BUR as a document attached to the application for a plot of land belonging to Emak Sajiri's brother to the Depok City Government whose designation is for a public cemetery," he said.

"So the allegedly fake documents were used as an attachment for the issuance of the IMB to PT Abdi Luhur Kawulo Alit. Of course, this is for the interest of the suspect BUR and the handover of the land has been processed and accepted by the Depok City Government," continued Ramadhan.

In a follow-up to the handling of the land mafia case, Ramadhan stated that he would examine the suspects. However, the schedule for the inspection was not detailed.

In this case, the suspects are charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code, Article 266 of the Criminal Code, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, Article 372 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
