Youth In Bandung Intercepted, Beaten, Then Shot

BANDUNG - Shooting by an unknown person occurred again in Bandung. This time the victim is Yoga Novan (22) who is confronted by a mob.

Yoga on Monday, August 24 evening rode a motorbike across Jalan Dipati Ukur, Bandung City. At that time, he was intercepted by the perpetrator who was riding two motorbikes.

"That night my friend and I were discharged from the angkringan. Then, about 30 meters from the location, while on the road I was stopped by the perpetrator who was pointing a black pistol or hand gun," Yoga told reporters.

The perpetrator suddenly hit the victim's head using the handheld weapon. Before hitting, the 4 perpetrators had a gun pointed in his face.

"I grabbed the hand of the perpetrator who wanted to shoot my friend. However, another actor fired his gun right at my face. The distance was less than 5 cm from my face. Shots were heard three times and the perpetrator also shot my back and legs," Yoga explained. .

Meanwhile, the Head of Coblong Police, Kompol Hendra Virmanto, confirmed the incident. When Yoga was riding his friend on a motorbike, suddenly the two of them were caught from behind.

One of the motorcyclists kicked the victim's motorcycle. The perpetrators also hit the victim.

"Because the victim and his friend fought back, a fight broke out between the victim and the perpetrators and because they felt pressured, the perpetrators took out a weapon suspected of being an airsoft gun which then one of the perpetrators fired the airsoft gun at the victim's body and face," said Hendra, Wednesday, 26 August.

The police is still investigating this case. Meanwhile, the identity of the perpetrators is still being investigated.
