Free Transjakarta On New Year's Celebration At Ancol

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will provide free service for the Kemayoran-Ancol route for 24 hours for people who want to celebrate the change of new tofu at Ancol Dreamland Park.

"Due to the traffic engineering that will be implemented to regulate the density to and from the Ancol area, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Department of Transportation has assigned Transjakarta to prepare a shuttle in the form of a free shuttle from the JIE expo C3 Parking to the east gate of Ancol," said Transjakarta Service and Development Director Achmad Izzul. Waro in an official statement, Friday 27 December.

Later, the metrotrans type bus will serve passengers with a route, namely the JIExpo Kemayoran bus stop - Wisma Atlet Parking Area - Kemayoran - Ancol East Gate with a travel time of approximately 20 minutes.

There are eight bus units with a capacity of 60 people and wheelchairs can be accessed to transport people on these routes. Prospective passengers can enjoy these facilities on Tuesday 31 December at 05.00 WIB until Wednesday 1 December at 23.59 WIB.

Transjakarta has also prepared several supporting routes to JIEXPO. For example Route 2C City Hall - JIEXPO which operates from Tuesday 24 December starting at 05.00-22.00 WIB and on December 31 this route operates 24 hours.

Then the other routes, namely PRJ1 Pulo Gadung -JIEXPO, and PRJ3 PGC - JIEXPO routes operate starting December 31, 2019. This route makes it easier for people who use public transportation to go to their destination at New Year's Eve.

"The three supporting routes are still subject to the normal Transjakarta tariff and we each provide three fleets," said Izzul.
