Father And Son, Gang Of Thugs And House Robbers In Cipinang Melayu Turns Out To Be Drunk

JAKARTA - Investigators from the East Jakarta Metro Police continue to explore the motive for the incident that led to the robbery of a family on Jalan Sulawesi, Cipinang Melayu Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Sartono said the incident began with an argument in front of the victim's house on Jalan Sulawesi, Cipinang Melayu Village.

"There was a nudge between the perpetrator with the initials VO and the victim. An altercation ensued until the perpetrator VO returned to bring his friends and immediately ganged up on a family at his house. There were 5 victims," the police chief told reporters, Thursday, January 6.

After being mistreated, the victim was afraid that the victim would finally leave the house. The victim fled to the Bogor area, West Java. Meanwhile, the perpetrators came to steal things from his house.

"We confiscated evidence of one unit of automatic motorbike, 1 BPKB, 5 units of acoustic guitar and an LCD TV belonging to the victim which were taken by the perpetrators," he said.

The police are currently investigating the case to identify other perpetrators.

"What is certain is that there are seven perpetrators but they can develop later. Three people have been arrested, the other four are still at large," he said.

The police chief said this incident occurred after New Year's Eve. The perpetrator was drunk when the incident occurred.

"The brain of this case is the perpetrator with the initials VO. So the VO perpetrator brought his friends and family. The starting point was the VO perpetrator. There was one father and son and one not," he said.

Of the four perpetrators who are still at large, the police said that evidence of money belonging to the victim who was confiscated was still being carried away by the fugitive perpetrator.
