Police Hand Over Case Files At Batua Makassar Hospital At The South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office

MAKASSAR - The South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Regional Police (Polda) has handed over the case files of the first phase of 13 suspects in the alleged corruption case of the Makassar Batua Hospital construction project after being declared P21, to the investigators of the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office.

"The file has been handed over, it is still waiting for the results of coordination (kejati) and is still in process," said Head of Investigating Sub-Section for Corruption Crimes at the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate, South Sulawesi Police Corruption Crimes Commissioner Fadli, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 3.

Although 13 suspects have been detained at the South Sulawesi Police's Detention Center (Rutan) since Thursday, December 30, 2021, so far, he said, no one has applied for a suspension of detention. Because, his party is still holding the suspects while waiting for the coordination of the pick-up from the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office.

"Until now, no (report of the suspension of the suspect's detention) has come to me," said Kompol Fadli.

Previously, from the results of the South Sulawesi Police's exposure some time ago to 13 suspects, such as the Head of the Makassar Health Service Andi Naisyah Tun Azikin (AN) who acted as the Budget User Authority (KPA).

Then, Sri Rahmayani Malik (SR) Makassar City Government Civil Servant as Commitment Making Officer (PPK), followed by Muh Alwi (MA) Makassar City Government Civil Servant as Technical Implementation Officer (PPTK). Furthermore, Hamsaruddin (HS), Mediswaty (MW), and Andi Sahar (AS) acted as the Makassar Procurement Service Unit Working Group (Pokja).

Next, Firman Marwan (FM) of the Makassar City Government Civil Servant as the Committee for Recipients of Work (PPHP), Andi Erwin Hatta Sulolipu (AEHS) as Director of PT Tri Mitra Sukses Sejahtera, Muhammad Kadafi Marikar (MK) as Director of PT Sultana Nugraha, and Andi Ilham Hatta Sulolipu (AIHS) Authorized Director of PT Sultana Nugraha.

Then, the Consultants for Supervision Inspector CV Sukma Lestari were Dantje Runtulalo (DR), Anjas Prasetya Runtulalo (APR) and Ruspiyanto (RP).

In the case of collective corruption, it has cost the state finances of Rp. 22 billion. The type C hospital construction project located on Jalan Abdulah Daeng Sirua has a budget of IDR 25.5 billion, and started in 2018.

This case began to be investigated in December 2020 by the police, based on the results of the examination by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

The police arrested these 13 suspects with Article 2 paragraph 1 Subsidiary Article 3 of Law 31 of 1999 concerning the Crime of Corruption as amended in Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1E of the Criminal Code.
