COVID Slopes, Starting Next Week ASN In 48 OPD West Papua Provincial Government 100 Percent WFO

WEST PAPUA - West Papua Provincial Government (Pemprov) employees in 48 regional apparatus organizations (OPD) are required to work from the office or work from office (WFO) a maximum of 100 percent starting this week.

West Papua Governor Dominggus Mandacan said, 100 percent of the WFO employees of the West Papua Provincial Government, considering that the positive cases of COVID-19 in West Papua have been sloping. The percentage of recovered patients is already above 98 percent and the coverage of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Manokwari Regency is above 70 percent.

"We have 10 active cases of COVID-19 in West Papua, they are self-isolating, the recovery percentage is also above 98 percent, even the coverage of the first dose of Manokwari vaccination is above 70 percent, so employees are required to go to work as usual while still implementing health protocols. " said Dominggus in front of his employees after carrying out the thanksgiving service starting the 2022 work calendar, West Papua Governor's Office, Manokwari, Antara, Monday, January 3.

The governor also directed that the weekly routine activities of employees, such as an apple on Monday morning, would resume as usual, including an apple in each OPD office.

"Especially for the morning apple for the West Papua ASN every Monday, it must be carried out by implementing the COVID-19 health protocol, while daily apples in each OPD in the morning and evening are still held to ensure the presence of employees," said Mandacan.

The governor emphasized that all ASN West Papua should improve themselves from old habits and carry out their duties with full responsibility, honesty and friendliness when serving the community.

"Hopefully in 2022, West Papuan ASN can be more optimal in working with full responsibility in their respective duties," he said again.

During the 100 percent WFO, the Governor also hopes that the leaders in the 48 OPDs of the West Papua Provincial Government will provide personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks and special hand sanitizer for people who need services.

"Every OPD is required to prepare masks and hand sanitizer, so that people who come are required to comply with the COVID-19 health protocol before being served," said the Governor of West Papua as well.
