As a result of the flood, the East Aceh Government began distributing basic food assistance to residents who had fled to a number of points.
"We have distributed basic necessities to residents affected by the flood, such as rice, eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles, bread, sugar, and others," said Head of the East Aceh Social Service, Elfiandi.
Not only from the government, oil and gas company PT Medco E&P Malaka has also provided assistance in the form of hundreds of packaged rice for the affected residents.
