From January 2021 to November 2021 along 122.9 km have started operating and In December 2021, it is planned that 32.2 km will be operational, so that the total toll roads that have been operating throughout Indonesia by the end of 2021 are 2,489.2 km long. From January to November 2021 there are 10 new toll roads that have been completed for 122.9 km, namely Bogor Ring Road section 3A (2.9 km), Kayu Agung - Palembang - Betung section 1 stage 1B (8.2 km), Sigli - Banda Aceh section 3 (16 km), Medan - Binjai section 1A (4.2 km ), Cengkareng – Batu Ceper – Kunciran (14.2 km). Then Serpong – Cinere Section 1 (6.5 km), Cibitung – Cilincing Section 1 (2.7 km), Balikpapan – Samarinda Sections 1 and 5 (32, 4 km), six sections of DKI toll road section A (9.3 km), and Serang - Panimbang Section 1 (26.5 km).

The remaining three toll roads spanning 32.2 km are targeted for completion by the end of December 2021, consisting of the Manado - Bitung Section 2B (13.5 km), Sigli - Banda Aceh Section 2 (6.4 km), and Binjai - Langsa, the Binjai segment. - Stabat (12.3 km), so that the total length of toll roads that will start operating in 2021 is 155.1 km. Furthermore, in 2022-2024 it is planned that 1,010.8 km will operate, namely in 2022 along 421.8 km, in 2023 along 338.1 km, and in 2024 along 250.8 km. It is targeted that toll roads operating in Indonesia in 2024 are 3,500 km long. The Ministry of PUPR continues to build a number of toll road projects that are part of the National Strategic Project (PSN). This is in accordance with Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 56/2018 concerning the Second Amendment to Presidential Regulation 3/2016 concerning the Acceleration of PSN Implementation.
