Anies Grants Regional-Owned Land-Buildings Worth Rp. 97 Billion To Polda Metro Jaya And Jakarta Attorney General's Office

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan donated assets belonging to the region in the form of a number of land and buildings to the Polda Metro Jaya and the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office.

The signing was carried out by the Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Province, Marullah Matali, together with the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, and the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General Muhammad Fadil Imran; witnessed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Anies Baswedan.

Anies said that the handover of the assets was in addition to being a means of building partnerships as well as considerations to support the implementation of the tasks and functions of the agencies given the grant.

"The grant process also needs to follow the stages according to the applicable regulations/stipulations. I hope this process is carried out well, transparently and accountably and the administration is also well equipped. Of course, this grant is a concrete manifestation of our commitment in Jakarta in collaboration with Polda Metro Jaya and Kajati DKI Jakarta," said Anies at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 29.

Anies requested that this regional asset grant be used as intended, in a transparent and accountable manner in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations.

"We hope that this will be our commitment in Jakarta as a partner of the Polda Metro Jaya and the DKI Jakarta High Court. So that the two agencies can carry out their duties better," said Anies.

For information, the handover of regionally owned assets is a follow-up to Article 396 of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 19 of 2016 concerning Guidelines for the Management of Regional Property.

The Minister of Home Affairs in question also states that regional property can be donated if it meets the following requirements:

a. Not a state secret item; b. Not an item that dominates the lives of many people; orc. It is no longer used in carrying out the duties and functions of regional government administration.

There are also types of assets that are donated to these two agencies in the form of:

1. PPAD BPAD tennis court land and permanent open sports building located on Jl. Raya Gading Indah, East Kelapa Gading will be used for the Kelapa Gading Police Office

2. Vacant land that has been allocated for PPAD BPAD which is located on Jl. The Elok III midrib, Kelapa Gading Barat will be used for the North Jakarta Police Chief's Office House.

3. Land and building PPAD BPAD-borrow-to-use assets Jl. Ranco Indah/Jl. Tanjung 1 Jagakarsa, which is currently used for the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office

4. Land and building PPAD BPAD-fixed assets on Jl. Raya Kembangan, North Kembangan, which is currently used for the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office.
