Waiting For Propam Inspection, Ex-Kapolsek Sepatan AKP Oky Bekti Will Be Criminally Sanctioned

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has stated that it will impose severe sanctions on AKP Oky Bekti Wibowo for his involvement in the drug abuse case. Currently, he has been removed from his position as the Head of the Sepatan Police.

"Then regarding the violations committed, of course, in accordance with the commitment of the Police leadership, there is zero tolerance for Polri members who use drugs," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 29.

Zulpan added that in this case, AKP Oky was not only given ethical sanctions but also in the criminal realm. To get to the criminal stage, wait for the results of the examination of the Professional and Security Sector (Propam).

"This decisive action will not only stop at disciplinary action and the code of ethics. But it will also be continued to a further process. When there is a deeper connection, a general crime will also be imposed," said Zulpan.

For information, AKP Oky Bekti Wibowo has been removed as the Sepatan Police Chief. Currently he has been transferred to Pama Yanma Polda Metro Jaya for examination.

The removal was stated in the Telegram Letter (ST) number ST/588/XII/KEP./2021. Where, even then, because AKP Oky was involved in a case of drug abuse of the type of methamphetamine.
