National Police Chief Sigit Highlights Case Of Mother Asked To Arrest Perpetrators Of Harassment, Asks No More!

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo responded to the question of the mother with the initials DN who was asked to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the sexual harassment case herself. He asked that this problem should not happen again.

"Earlier, the National Police Chief also emphasized such problems so that they don't happen," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to reporters, Wednesday, December 29.

In addition, the National Police Chief also asked his staff to improve services to the community. Because, public servants and protectors are the main tasks of the Bhayangkara Corps.

"The main tasks of the National Police will be better expected, carried out with more quality according to the expectations of the community," said Rusdi.

On the other hand, Rusdi also emphasized that the National Police would investigate the issue. So, all problems will be clear and find a solution

"Obviously, the Police will investigate whether the incident occurred and (the action, ed) was carried out by members of the Police when serving the community," said Rusdi.

Previously, a mother with the initials DN had attracted attention. This is because he stated that he had received unpleasant treatment from members of the Bekasi Metro Police. Where, the treatment that DN received was being asked by the police to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the abuse himself.

At that time, DN with great emotion did not accept this treatment. The reason is that the alleged harassment case has been officially reported with the reported initials AY, on Tuesday, December 21. Moreover, the victim in the report is his son who is still 9 years old.

In addition, at that time, DN heard news about the alleged perpetrator, who was a neighbor who was going to Surabaya. So, he thinks AY will run away.
