SEMARANG – The Central Java Provincial Government has vaccinated students at all levels. Data until December 26, 2021, it was recorded that around 1 million students had undergone the vaccine.

Central Java Regional Secretary Sumarno said the realization of vaccination for students as well as teachers and educators has been running. "The total number of students who have been vaccinated is 1,868,878," explained Sumarno during a virtual presentation of the Covid Handling and Evaluation Meeting, Monday (12/27/2021).

Of that number, 1,020,158 of them are SMA/SMK/SLB students. At the school level managed by the provincial government, 375,188 were high school students; 638,411 SMK; and 6,559 special school students.

Meanwhile, in schools managed by districts/cities, there are 651,526 students from TK/PAUD/KB-SD-SMP education units. In schools handled by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, including RA-MI-MTs,-MA, a total of 197,194 students have been vaccinated.

Sumarno continued, it was not only students who had undergone the vaccine. But calm educators and teachers have also been vaccinated.

"For educators and teachers who have been vaccinated in all education units, a total of 310,686 people have been vaccinated," he explained.

The head of the Central Java Health Office, Yulianto Prabowo, explained that the Central Java vaccination coverage was up to December 26, both dose 1 and dose 2.

“Vaccination coverage for dose 1 reached 77.41 percent. And the coverage of dose 2 vaccination reached 58.25 percent," said Yuli, as he is known, in his presentation.
