GARUT - Commander of the Army Military Police Center (Danpuspom AD) Lt. Gen. Chandra W Sukotjo said that the investigation into the Nagreg collision case, Bandung Regency, West Java, which caused the death of two residents by members of the TNI was centered at the AD Puspom.

According to him, the three suspects who are members of the TNI are already in detention and are in the process of being investigated. The three members of the TNI, namely Colonel P, Koptu DA, and Kopda A.

"So the case was at the Pomdam III Siliwangi, and Pomdam IV Diponegoro, and Pomdam XIII Merdeka, but now it has been concentrated (at the AD Puspom)," Chandra said at the victim's residence in Limbangan, Garut Regency, West Java, Antara, Monday. , December 27.

Chandra targets the investigation of the three members of the Indonesian Army to be completed within this week. So that cases of collision and disposal of the bodies can immediately go to military courts.

In the investigation process, according to Chandra, the Military Police were supported by the police to be able to complete a number of evidences and witness statements that had previously been examined by the Bandung Police.

"Later we will see the results of the examination, who is the brain behind it, carrying out this inhumane act," he said.

Meanwhile, Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman ensured that the legal process enforced against the three members of the TNI would be firm and transparent.

On behalf of the institution, he has apologized to the families of Handi (16) and Salsabila (14) who were victims of the incident.

"I have conveyed to the families of the victims an apology on behalf of the Army institution which was carried out by unscrupulous members of the Indonesian Army," said Dudung.

Previously, a collision involving Handi and Salsabila, as well as three members of the TNI AD occurred on December 8, 2021. After the incident, the victims were allegedly taken by the three members of the TNI and mysteriously disappeared.

Then on December 11, 2021, the bodies of two victims were found in the Serayu River in Central Java. After being found, the bodies of the victims were returned to their families and buried.
