In A Condition Of Fever And Vomiting, A Resident Who Was Stung By A Jellyfish Was Evacuated

ACEH BESAR - The search and rescue team or SAR evacuated residents who were reported to have been stung by jellyfish while bathing in the sea in the Peukan Bada area, Aceh Besar District.

Head of the Banda Aceh National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Budiono in Banda Aceh, Sunday, said the victim on behalf of M Fahmi (17) was a resident of Lampaseh Village, Kuta Raja District, Banda Aceh City.

"The victim was evacuated after being reported to have been stung by a jellyfish. When he was evacuated, the victim had a fever and vomiting," Budiono said.

Budiono said that previously the victim was reported to have spent the night and camped at Lhok Keutapang Beach, Gampong Lam Pageu, Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar District.

On the morning of Sunday, December 26, said Budiono, the victim was bathing in the sea at the beach. Suddenly the victim was stung by a jellyfish. The victim had a fever and was vomiting.

Then, said Budiono, the Banda Aceh Basarnas received information about the incident. Based on this information, the Banda Aceh Basarnas dispatched a team to evacuate victims

"The evacuation was carried out by sea using an RIB boat. Then the victim was taken to Ulee Lheue Port and evacuated to the hospital using an ambulance," Budiono said.
