Bobby Nasution Invites NU To Succeed In The Construction Of The Medan Islamic Center

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution invited the local Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU) Branch Manager to collaborate in the successful construction of the Medan Islamic Center next year.

"Building an Islamic Center is not only physical, but also the system, the organization and the movement of civilization within it," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, Wednesday, December 22.

Bobby Nasution said the construction of the Medan Islamic Center with an area of 21 hectares in Tangkahan Village, Medan Labuhan for the first phase is planned for 2022.

This development, he said, is an aspiration for Muslims in the city of Medan, therefore when the Medan Islamic Center has been built it must be carried out properly.

In addition, Bobby Nasution stated that the Medan City Government wanted to attend the inauguration of the Medan City PCNU management together with various community organizations.

"I certainly support the inauguration. Hopefully this event will run smoothly and will provide goodness for NU in Medan in the future," he said.

M. Akbar Rosyidi Datmi, representing the Medan City PCNU, said that so far there have been growing issues related to the emergence of a fake Medan City PCNU certificate (SK).

Therefore, his party's arrival together with the Deputy Chair Alpian Hutauruk and the Deputy Chairperson of Syakban Lubis introduced the management of the Medan City PCNU.

"The plan is that in mid-February 2022, we will hold an inauguration. We ask the Mayor for permission to accept another audience to invite you," he said.
