Good News, The Sigi Regency Government Of Central Sulawesi Distributes Fund Aid Through KUR To Residents With Middle To Lower Economy

SIGI - The Regional Government of Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi facilitates business funding assistance for the middle to lower economic community in the area in order to improve their welfare.

"The local government provides business capital for the community through the People's Business Credit (KUR) scheme," said Sigi Regent Mohamad Irwan in Sigi, Antara, Wednesday, December 22.

Mohamad said that he and Deputy Regent Samuel Yansen Pongi had planned to facilitate business capital assistance to the community, through the zero percent KUR scheme. In its implementation, the Sigi Regency Government cooperates with Bank Mandiri as one of the banks entrusted by the government to distribute KUR.

"We laid the foundation for zero percent KUR, and Bank Mandiri is ready to cooperate, this is good news for the people of Sigi Regency," said Samuel.

The Sigi Regency Government together with Bank Mandiri have launched a zero percent KUR program, taking place in Sigi. Through this program, Bank Mandiri provides super micro KUR facilities worth IDR 2-10 million without collateral or guarantees.

So that the middle and lower classes are not burdened with KUR interest, the program money belonging to the Sigi Regional Government will be deposited in the bank, so that people who receive financial assistance from the KUR scheme will no longer pay the KUR interest.

Mohamad Irwan said to develop independent MSMEs, as well as optimizing community businesses in the agriculture, plantation, livestock and fishery sectors, the financing sector is one that must be strengthened.

"Because with a strong initial program, it will have an impact on the strength of the business structure," he said.

"The 0 percent interest KUR is a collaboration between the central government and the local government of Sigi Regency. Through this program, we are determined to finance the debtor's KUR interest in Sigi Regency so that business actors only need to return the principal," he said.
