Because Of The Bripka RY's Infidelity Case, The Police Implement Reward And Punishment

JAKARTA - The Central Java Regional Police expressed their commitment to enforce discipline and rules for all its members without exception. This was conveyed by the Head of Humas for the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. M Iqbal Alqudusy when responding to media questions regarding the handling of immoral cases involving members of the Cluwak Police, Pati Police, Bripka RY.

As is known, Bripka RY was reported as a migrant worker named Sukalam for having an affair with his wife with the initials SA. The report was followed up by the Pati Police by conducting an investigative investigation up to the trial of the code of ethics against the Brigadier General RY.

After going through several trials, the alleged violator of Bripka RY was finally deemed to have violated the Polri code of ethics and was given a number of disciplinary sanctions and recommended to be dishonorably discharged (PTDH).

"The alleged violator is suspected of violating Article 11 letter c and Article 11 letter d of the National Police Chief Regulation Number 14 of 2011 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics. Currently the person concerned is placed in a special room to undergo disciplinary sanctions," said Iqbal, based on information received, Tuesday 21 December.

Regarding PTDH's recommendation, he continued, Bripka RY was given 14 days by the police code of ethics commission at the Pati Police to file an appeal.

"The appeal is addressed to Ankum's superior, the Central Java Police Chief," he said.

Kabidhumas emphasized that the National Police have clear mechanisms and rules regarding the performance of Polri members. Each member is bound by the rules of the code of ethics that have an impact on the career of the personnel concerned.

"So there is a clear concept of reward and punishment in the National Police. There are a number of rules about it. Anyone who violates will be punished. On the other hand, whoever makes a good contribution or excels, will get an award," said Kabidhumas.

The Bidhumas of the Central Java Police itself, added Kombes M Iqbal, received a number of awards for their excellent performance. Finally, Bidhumas received an award as Top 1 Social Media Engagement from the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General of Police Dedi Prasetyo at the Anev event for the Consolidation of Public Relations of the Police which was held in Jakarta, last Wednesday, December 14.

"So the accounts managed by the Public Relations of the Police in Central Java received a high response from netizens. Even by the leadership they were considered the highest in line with the Indonesian National Police," he said.
