Habib Bahar Bin Smith Invites The Congregation To Support The Policy Of The Army Chief Of Staff Dudung

JAKARTA - Habib Bahar bin Smith admitted that he was not only criticizing the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman about the statement "God is not an Arab." To his congregation, Bahar invited to participate in supporting KSAD Dudung if his policies were beneficial to the people.

One of the policies of KSAD Dudung that needs to be supported is related to the recruitment of santri to become TNI personnel.

"It's like he (Dudung, ed) wants to recruit santri to become the TNI. That's a good thing and we must support it, I convey to the congregation, do you support Dudung's good policy or not? The congregation immediately said support. wrong, right, I said right," said Bahar as read by constitutional law expert Refly Harun on the Youtube channel (@Refly Harun), Tuesday, December 21.

Bahar also appealed to the lecture to be seen in its entirety, not to take part of it to understand the meaning conveyed. Even for his congregation, Bahar appealed to support government policies if they are useful for the benefit of many people.

Regarding the criticism of Army Chief of Staff Dudung who issued the statement 'God is not an Arab' some time ago. According to Bahar Smith, he is wrong, because it likens God to creatures.

"I said that he was wrong to say that because he likened Allah to creatures. His name is a person he sees with his eyes, hears with his ears, speaks with his tongue, touches with his hands, walks with his feet and feels with his heart. I said that was wrong and be careful it can lead to apostasy," said Bahar Smith.

Bahar Smith then asked Army Chief of Staff Dudung to remain silent if he didn't really understand religion. Not only 'God is not an Arab,' Bahar Smith also supports a policy that is considered good for the people and society.
