JAKARTA - A number of youths dressed in punks were disembarked from the Rangkasbitung-Merak Local Train number 472 by the Special Police Train (Polsuska) on their way. The recorded video of the event is widely circulating on social media today. The video was uploaded on Twitter @ricky_Hf today. But when viewed at 16.00 WIB, the upload was deleted.

Head of Public Relations of KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa, explained that this story happened because the group of 25 people was deemed to have disturbed the orderliness of the train passengers. Passengers who are uncomfortable with the existence of this punk kid report to the Police.

"Based on the complaint, they disturbed their comfort. They said they went back and forth on the train, babbling all kinds of noise, and other passengers' neglect," said Eva when contacted by VOI, Thursday, December 26.

The Polsuska officers went straight to the complaint area and then admonished them kindly, but the response of the group was not cooperative and even challenged the officers.

"They are not cooperative when they are given a good warning. Yes, because according to the rules when a passenger disturbs the order, they must be lowered," he said.

Even though the group had train travel tickets, Eva's disappearance, the expulsion did not violate their rights as passengers. Given, PT KAI has rules that prohibit passengers from committing immoral acts, carrying dangerous goods, and behaving that can endanger safety and / or disturb other passengers.

Passengers who violate the prohibition, said Eva, are not allowed to take the train or if they are caught inside the train, they will be dropped off at the first opportunity.

"There are rules. They have been said persuasively, they are not cooperative. It does not mean that you can buy tickets on the train at will, miss. This is in accordance with the SOP," he explained.

No gun threat

Eva denied that Polsuska carried out evictions with a gun threat to the group of punks, according to the narrative circulating on social media. Eva said that what was issued by the Police was a shock weapon for self-protection, because the number of the group was quite large.

"This action is also carried out to guard against the possibility of the device being seized or misused," he said.

In the end, the police officers acted decisively by lowering several passengers who made a scene at Karangantu Station. After that the train journey continues.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta hopes that passengers will always maintain order during the trip so that they do not interfere with the comfort of other passengers.
