Dozens Of ASN In Kudus Sanctioned For Violating Discipline, 2 Teachers Fired For Missing Work For Tens Of Days

KUDUS - The Education and Training Personnel Agency (BKPP) of Kudus Regency, Central Java, noted that during 2021 there were 16 state civil servants (ASN) within the local district government who were subject to sanctions for disciplinary violations.

"Of the dozens of ASN, four of them received light sanctions, four other ASN received moderate sanctions, and eight ASN received severe sanctions," said Acting Head of BKPP Kudus, Tulus Tri Yatmika, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 20.

Tulus revealed that ASN who received moderate sanctions, one of whom was subject to a periodic salary delay for 1 year, while the other three were suspended from promotion.

Meanwhile, the moderate sanction is only in the form of a written warning, while the other three ASNs receive dissatisfied statements.

For ASN who were given severe sanctions, two of them were dismissed and six other ASNs were sentenced to postpone their promotion.

"All of the dismissed ASNs are teachers because they have been absent from work for more than 46 days," said Tulus.

Most of them, he said, have already served their sentences so that next year they can return to normal.

According to him, the sanctions are a deterrent effect so that there are no disciplinary violations.
