Entering The Vice Presidential Exchange In The KedaiKOPI Survey, General Andika Perkasa's Electability Is In Second Place

JAKARTA - The electability of TNI General Andika Perkasa has begun to appear in the political arena of the country. After only one month serving as the TNI Commander, Andika's name has already appeared in the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) exchange. In fact, Andika Perkasa came in second after Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.

These results are reflected in a survey by the KedaiKOPI agency released on Sunday, December 19.

"The first place is occupied by Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno with 67.0 percent, Andika Perkasa with 12.3 percent," said the Executive Director of KedaiKOPI, Kunto A Wibowo.

In third position is DPR Chair Puan Maharani with 8.6 percent, the four SOE Ministers Erick Thohir with 5.5 percent. The five general chairmen of Golkar, Airlangga Hartarto, were 5.4 percent.

Meanwhile, the sixth position was PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan 0.6 percent, and the seventh chairman of the PKS Syuro Council Salim Segaf Al-Jufri 0.6 percent.

Kunto said that General Andika's election at number two would be if the president chosen was Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

"So from the following seven names of figures who will be chosen to accompany Prabowo Subianto as Vice President," he said

The KedaiKOPI Institute survey was carried out throughout Indonesia on 16-24 November 2021 with the face to face interview or home visit method.

The number of respondents was 1,200 and the sampling error was approximately 2.83 percent at a 95.0 percent confidence interval. The population of respondents is voters aged 17-65 years.
